Enchanting Symphony of Emerald [Epic Verse]

Coorg: Enchanting Symphony of Emerald

Coorg, a gem of nature’s splendid art,

Where misty mountains touch the sky’s blue heart,

A land of coffee, culture and serene grace,

Where every corner holds a charming trace.

Coorg, you beckon with your dreamy sights,

Where streams and valleys fill the soul with light,

You stand among the Western Ghats with pride,

A haven of tranquility and peace inside.

From Mandalpatti’s summit, what a view,

Where clouds and hills embrace in blissful hue,

The green-clad slopes, a vision to behold,

A glimpse of heaven’s glory, bright and bold.

In ancient woods, where wildlife thrives and roams,

Where secrets and stories linger and loam,

Elephants wander freely, majestic and brave,

In Dubare’s reserve, where they are safe.

Abbey Falls, a wonder of nature’s force,

Where water leaps and flows with joyful course,

A melody of nature’s soothing sound,

As beauty wraps around with love profound.

Explore the mystic trails of Brahmagiri,

Where echoes of the past stir the memory,

In Talakaveri’s sacred site,

The river’s origin, a holy light.

Coorg, the Scotland of India they say,

With misty scapes and legends on display,

Madikeri’s fort stands as a proud symbol,

Steady and strong, a protector noble.

Plantations, like green carpets spread across,

Cover the land, a gift to all of us,

Coffee’s fragrance fills the air with delight,

As planters work with passion and insight.

Coorg’s culture, rich in heritage and lore,

The Kodavas, a brave and graceful core,

Their martial customs and heroic deeds,

Live on through time, as history leads.

And as the sun dips below Coorg’s horizon,

Where nature and serenity are one,

The whispers of calmness linger on,

In Coorg’s embrace, forever drawn.

Oh, Coorg, a paradise of wonders rare,

Where nature’s splendor shines everywhere,

In every leaf, in every breath you feel,

A harmony of beauty, ever real.

May your hills always sing the sublime song,

And in our hearts, your spirit will belong,

Coorg, oh Coorg, a treasure beyond compare,

A sanctuary of joy, meant to share.
